deconex® 38 CU is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for copper and copper alloys (e.g. brass, copper-beryllium, nickel silver). It is used mainly as a long-term corrosion inhibitor. Alternatively it can be combined with a non-ferrous metal-incompatible cleaner to prevent corrosion in the cleaning step as well as in the rinsing and drying steps that follow.
deconex® 38 CU is used in soaking baths and ultrasonic baths.
When used as a long-term corrosion inhibitor, it is sufficient to add it to the soaking bath. In this case, dilution must be performed with demineralized water.
