The two-component reaction stop system consists of the
powdery primer deconex® de-coat 301P and is used together with the liquid activator deconex® de-coat 301L to stop the decoating reaction when using potassium permanganate solutions after removal of the following layers:
– CrN
– AlCrN
– AlCrN/SiN
Discolorations (manganese dioxide) on the substrates are
removed and a carryover of potassium permanganate into the waste water is prevented.
