Weiler/Isny, September 15, 2025 – LEUKA GmbH, an established supplier to the aviation, semiconductor, and defense industries, and Pfiffner GmbH, a long-standing specialist in industrial coatings, have jointly founded LP Aerospace Coatings GmbH. The aim of the new venture is to offer highly sophisticated coating services specifically for applications in the aviation and defense industries. With over 30 years of experience in the production of safety-critical components, LEUKA GmbH brings comprehensive expertise in aviation supply to this joint company. Pfiffner GmbH, on the other hand, can look back on almost 100 years of company history in the field of manual and industrial coating techniques. By combining these areas of expertise, the new company LP Aerospace Coatings GmbH offers a range of services. These meet the highest technological and quality requirements.

LP Aerospace Coatings GmbH has already successfully commenced operations. Initial customer certifications have been obtained. The company is already working on projects with partners from the aviation and defense industries.

Our paint shop is designed for maximum precision and reproducible quality. Covering an area of 250 m², our modern technical infrastructure ensures efficient processes and flexible production capacities.
• Paint booth (temperature-controlled): 6.5 m × 4.0 m × 2.8 m
• Drying oven: up to 80 °C – for controlled drying and curing processes
• Environmental monitoring: continuous control of temperature, humidity, and light for consistently high process reliability
Range of services
We offer customized coating and surface solutions for demanding industries:
• Wet coatings with multi-layer systems (primer, top coat, clear coat) for aerospace and defense applications with layer thicknesses from 20 µm
• Component labeling using various processes (ink, engraving, laser marking) for permanent marking and traceability
• Processing of heat-curing dry film lubricants such as Molycote – for components with high requirements for low friction, wear protection, and durability
